J Maggio credits his success as a Realtor to his finely honed analytical skills, intuitive nature and Finance degree from U of I. As a former futures trader, J is intimately familiar with the importance of asset pricing. "I've seen split second decisions have hundreds of thousands of dollars of implications. Understanding the market and pricing is key to success. And real estate is no different." Accordingly, the majority of his listings in the last 2 years have sold in the first week for asking price or more.

His track record, even in the worst-performing markets, is a testament to his success. It's no surprise that in his many years in real estate, J has ranked among the Chicago Association of Realtors' Top Producers and has been honored as an @properties Road to Rolex recipient.

While J is proud of these accomplishments, what is most meaningful is that his business is built almost entirely on referrals, and many clients have become good friends. This is evident by his client appreciation event attendance whether on a large scale at Family Fun Day at Arlington National Racetrack or intimate in nature on the golf course or at his home with cigars, red wine and a home cooked meal.

J began his real estate career with a focus on Chicago's downtown neighborhoods. As his clients' family size and wealth grew so did his focus to include the Western suburbs and investment properties. The real estate role he enjoys most is as "advisor". They genuinely appreciate J's direct, honest and unfiltered assessments that inspire the most informed decisions. "J was our urban to suburban guide and made the search and transition less daunting. We can't thank him enough because he has shaped our family experience," shares one client.

J Maggio lives in the western suburbs with his beautiful, supportive wife and their four amazing children that include twins. Having recently renovated an older home has given him even greater insight on the site selection/design/build process. J believes in treating everyone like family and frequently indulges his clients by sharing in his culinary pursuits. Just ask him about his prized brown bag, fried chicken.
