Jacob Geringer

I started my real estate journey in the Spring of 2000 as an appraiser trainee. During the crash of 2008, I witnessed firsthand the nightmare version of the American dream. While appraising homes for the banks, I listened as countless homeowners told their story of losing their home to foreclosure and having to uproot their family. Neither of which was by choice or by their doing. These were hard working people. Unfortunately, companies were downsizing or closing altogether. It was simply the toughest economic time of my generation. I realized that there had to be a better way. I knew the real estate industry could do better. Fast forward, almost 25 years later and I'm a still a state certified appraiser and the Broker of MarketPoint Realty. Our company initiative is to listen to our clients and provide solutions for their challenges. My training and experience enables us to analyze a good home at a fair price. So, we don't have a problem not recommending a home if we don't feel its a good fit for our client.
