After leaving CoStar, he joined the Washington office of Newmark & Company Real Estate, at the time one of the top commercial real estate advisory firms in the United States. From Newmark, Jacques joined First Capital Realty, a boutique real estate brokerage firm that ranks among the top multifamily brokerage firms nationwide. At First Capital Realty, Jacques was responsible for tracking market trends, developing proprietary research, as well as managing public relations, marketing, and advertising efforts for a variety of developers, high-net-worth individuals, and asset managers. In 2006, he left First Capital Realty for Sunburst Hospitality Corporation, a Silver Spring-based owner/operator of hotels nationwide. At Sunburst, he played an integral role in the acquisition of hotels in Ocean City, MD and Lantana, FL, as well as the construction of twenty-nine for-sale townhomes and the Vista on Courthouse Apartments in Arlington, VA. These experiences created a comprehensive awareness of every area of the DC Metro Area and every aspect of real estate.
In 2012, Jacques moved into residential real estate sales. As a licensed Realtor in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Jacques is very well-versed in the industry and brings this knowledge to bear on each assignment.
