Jaime Willis with Compass was phenomenal to work with. She focuses on helping her clients buy the home they want. With me, she exhibited incredible patience as we looked for my first home. I was both uncertain about what I wanted and new to home-buying, so she explained countless times the complexities of the process and worked with me for several months.

One particular moment in our working relationship that outlines her service was when I decided to make an offer on a place, but while doing the home inspection, I had doubts. The homeowner was willing to negotiate and work through my concerns, but I decided I didn't want the place anymore. Without hesitation, Jaime said, "Ok," and she helped me to back out of the offer and find a better fit. She could have talked me into buying that place, but she cared more about me being happy. Fast forward a few months and I could not be happier with the home that Jaime helped me find; it met my desired qualities and even included items on my "nice-to-have" list. Thank you, Jaime!

Not only does she offer great advice (and finds you great homes!), she is a steady hand as you navigate the crazy DC market. I cannot imagine a more competent, responsive, and professional real estate agent than Jaime. My husband and I worked with her to purchase our first home, and she answered our constant questions regardless of the time of day (or night), got us out to see places with just a few hours notice, and helped us navigate the insane DC housing market. She took the time to explain things to us like how to spot hidden termite damage, how to write a winning offer, the best types of homeowner's insurance, the cost of replacing lead pipes, etc. Her advice was above and beyond that of a typical agent. We were never rushed or pressured, and she treated us (and everyone with whom she worked) with dignity and respect. I really could not recommend her more highly.

Jaime is an absolute pro — I can't imagine that there is an agent out there who is more knowledgeable, responsive, intuitive, or candid about the home-buying process from start to finish (and beyond). The greatest challenge for us as prospective first-time home-buyers was that we didn't know what we didn't know; Jaime knows precisely what questions to ask, what issues to flag, when to hold 'em, fold 'em, et al. We ended up closing on a dream home that was well within our budget, and it would not have happened but for Jaime's remarkable feel for the whole DC market, the trends happening in each neighborhood, and her persistence and timeliness shepherding us through a process that would otherwise feel entirely overwhelming. We are so grateful to have worked with her, and couldn't recommend her more enthusiastically.

I want to write the most amazing review for simply one of the most gifted and brilliant realtors you will ever have the pleasure to work with when finding the home of your dreams. My fear is anyone who reads this will think Jaime Willis paid me to do it! She did not, lol.

I needed to find an adorable and peaceful home for me and my mentally challenged, yet lovable dog, Sammy. I was living in Massachusetts when the search began and did not have the time nor the inclination to travel down to DC to find it. I trusted Jaime sooooo much we made an offer on a Bungalow in MD, right across the DC border, sight unseen (well be me!). She negotiated a better price for me, and she worked beautifully with the seller's agent. Nothing ever felt difficult, or stressful for me, but I know it must have been incredibly challenging for Jaime during the Covid-19 era to make multiple trips to the property without me, and to know that her client was entrusting and expecting her to make decisions so that I could focus on other critical matters in my life. Imagine that stress when half a million bucks is on the line? Jaime took on the challenge with grace and kindness.

Before the closing she made sure my home was professionally cleaned (who does that?!), she helped me find the right alarm system, she installed (herself!) a NEST thermostat so I could control my home's HVAC remotely cause I travel often, she bought a cute dog bowl for my pooch, and put soap and other supplies in my bathrooms. She even had my lawn mowed so it looked extra posh. I mean, come on, who does these things? Jaime Willis DOES!!

Jaime is highly intelligent, an attorney by training, with real estate acumen second to none. She made it fun, exciting, and meaningful. You will not only fall in love with your new home if you work with Jaime, you will fall in love with her! I am gay so I can say that, lol.

Jaime thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this single dog dad happier than he could have ever imagined.

As for those reading this, Jaime, in two words, is a saintly star.

Jaime was the best real estate agent we could have ever found! We saw a few houses together and she really spent the time to learn what we were looking for. We found our new home before it was on the market! Jaime also sold our house very quickly! We had photos done so quickly and she put it on the market really quickly and we got the price we wanted. Buying/selling/moving during this time is rough but Jaime went out of her way to make everything she could as painless as possible. I will never go with anyone other than Jaime ever again! All people who we interacted with continuously said how incredible Jaime is at her job and she knows how to take care of everything! She is extremely well respected in Real Estate and it shows.

Jaime came highly recommended, and she did not disappoint. Within a week of our first conversation with Jaime, my fiancée and I were under contract to buy our first home together. Although our homebuying process went quickly, we never felt any pressure from Jaime to make an offer or settle for something we weren't comfortable with. On the contrary, Jaime was great both at helping us figure out the things that really mattered to us and at deciding whether each house fit the bill. In the end, we found a place that we both agreed was the one for us!

Jaime was also a strong advocate for us once we were under contract. She negotiated a favorable sale contract, helped us deal with a difficult seller and listing agent, and generally fought for us at every step of the process. She has very good judgment and knows her stuff. We can't recommend her enough.
