Jake was born in the Washington, D.C. area and grew up in north Mississippi where he learned the values of hard work, honesty, hospitality, and the passion for helping others. After earning a degree from Ole Miss, he began his professional career working on national political campaigns across the country and on the legislative staff for a Member of Congress. Before starting his career in real estate, he most recently served for six years on the leadership team of a national non-profit in Nashville, TN.
When he met his wife, who is a native of Fairhope, he fell in love with everything the Gulf Coast and Baldwin County has to offer – beautiful coast lines, good people, great food, and an amazing community. He always knew when the time was right, they would make the move from Music City down to Lower Alabama. Finally, after many trips to the Gulf Coast, he officially called the Eastern Shore home in 2018.
Jake’s desire to put the needs of others over his own made him a natural fit for real estate. Since beginning his career in real estate, he has been recognized as a multi-million-dollar top producer, received a nomination for Rising Star 2021 at Baldwin REALTORS® and named chair of the Baldwin REALTORS® RPAC Committee.
It’s easy to tell why he loves real estate – he gets to utilize his natural skills of negotiating on behalf of his clients to help them achieve their ultimate real estate goals. Not only is he determined to get his clients the price, timeframe, and terms they want, he’s also notorious for turning his clients into friends.
Jake lives in Fairhope with his wife, Alexa, son, Henry, and their yellow lab, Sadie.
