About Jake

Jake was born and raised in Nottingham, England and earned a distinguished degree from the Royal College of Music in London. Spending most of his life as a musician, Jake has performed both nationally and internationally and knows the meaning of hard work and dedication. He is also an entrepreneur at heart and has always been interested in starting his own business. Following his move to the United States in 2018, Jake quickly sought a career in real estate joining Keller Williams Realty in Christiansburg. In 2019, Jake joined the NRV Home Team as the lead buyer specialist. Jake has since thrived in his career and prides himself on building and maintaining his client relationships. In 2022, Jake was nominated for and received a "40 Under 40" award from the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce highlighting the hard work of local professionals in the NRV. What Jake loves most about real estate is being able to help others, meet new people and build long lasting relationships. He loves working with first time home buyers and getting to guide them through the process from start to finish. Jake has quickly become a local with his knowledge of the New River Valley and enjoys the beautiful scenery this area offers. Coming from a large city, he finds this new pace of life and small town community very charming. Jake currently lives in Christiansburg with his wife, Kelsey, and their 5 animals. Outside of real estate, you can find Jake teaching music, spending time with family, riding his motorcycle, and traveling.
