James Blackburn

Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, James 'Jimmy' Blackburn's passion for Montana and fly-fishing was sparked during a childhood horseback adventure into the Bob Marshall Wilderness. After college back East and business school in Monterey, California, he spent the next eight years in San Francisco successfully closing sales and developing new businesses for a handful of technology companies. However, the big city lifestyle eventually grew old, and the occasional fishing/ski trip to Montana just wasn’t enough, so Jimmy moved to Bozeman and hasn’t looked back. With a strong sales background and an obsession with Montana’s recreational beauty, real estate has proven to be the perfect career. Outside of the office, Jimmy is an avid fly fisherman, skier, and cyclist and spends considerable time in the field every fall hunting upland birds over his three English Setters, Jackson, June & Forrest.
