Jamie has a bachelor’s degree from Athens State University. She spent over ten years as a family portrait photographer. In 2015, she changed career paths, and those skills transferred perfectly into her role as a real estate agent. Her eye for detail and design have benefited both buyer and seller. Since becoming an agent, Jamie has tripled her income and sales volume. Jamie was the 2017 award recipient for the Alabama Association of Realtors, Mickey Phillips REALTORS for Children and the 2017 Morgan County Association of REALTORS Rising Star award winner. During the summer of 2019, Jamie made a goal to gain her broker’s license and in less than 90 days, that goal was achieved.

Jamie and her husband, owner of Reeves General Contractors, were foster parents turned adoptive parents. The Reeves have a beautiful, blended family of six girls and one granddaughter. Jamie is passionate about child advocacy and her community. She leads with a servant’s heart by sitting on several boards of directors in Morgan County and by being Vice President of Residential Development for the Decatur-Morgan Chamber of Commerce. Her heart for people and the community continues to fuel her success in real estate.

Her devotion to enhancing the lives of others is what brought her to the decision to form MeritHouse Realty in 2020. MeritHouse is a direct reflection of the way she lives her life and the way she chooses to serve others in her community.
