Jamie Zimmerman

My name is Jamie Zimmerman. I am a real estate broker out of Shelby Michigan (Oceana County).

I was born and raised in West Michigan along the lakeshore of the stunning Lake Michigan, more specifically Stony Lake/Silver Lake areas. I love the outdoors, camping, gardening, home projects, rehabbing old furniture, and walking the beaches of Lake Michigan. I did move away from the lakeshore, but was still a resident of West Michigan. While I was gone, I became a nurse, and started a family. I got into healthcare at the age of 17 and became a nurse at 19, and still carry my nursing license and practice. During my career as a nurse, I played many roles, nurses aid, home care nurse, manager of skilled nurses and units, Director of Nursing and Administrator. I became a marketer and nurse liaison and continued to expand my knowledge and experience in the nursing field. This position also allowed me to see and learn more of West Michigan and what it has to offer. I know the area from Grand Rapids to Big Rapids and from the beaches of Lake Michigan to Stanton and Mt. Pleasant. I’ve always loved helping people, which is why I got into the nursing field to begin with. Now again I want to continue helping others. I bought my first home at the age of 22 and now after buying and selling a couple of our family homes, it helped me realize the passion I’ve always had for real estate and pushed me to pursue getting my real estate license. It has been a way to continue helping others, and it also helps me to continue growing as a person. After 4 years of being a real estate agent, I became a broker.
