Growing up in the Pacific Northwest laid the foundation for her passion for the outdoors and fishing. Fishing the Santiam and Salmon Rivers with her dad and brothers was a favorite pastime as well as spending time with family on the beautiful Oregon Coast.
After attending the University of Oregon in Eugene, she traversed the country as a former dependent military spouse. Living and owning homes in Texas, New Mexico, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida & Montana, she has seen many facets of the Real Estate Market and learned how to associate with different cultures and personalities. Her time in the Air Force as a dependent wife provided some wonderful memories, special friendships, and a great appreciation of our military.
While Florida is where she made her permanent home, the Florida Keys is what she is most passionate about. After living in Miami for 30 years and being a weekend warrior at her home in the Lower Keys, her husband and she sold their home in Miami and moved to the Keys permanently in 2009.
How blessed people are to live in paradise and the sports fishing & dive capital of the world. She loves to sport fish and troll for Mahi or wahoo or just to be on the big blue water!! She did land a 32.5 lb. Mahi one year to take second place in a Dolphin tournament, how exciting that was! Some of the best diving & snorkeling is right out our back door. Looe Key is a favorite, it is like swimming in an aquarium, and it does not get much better.
She is so passionate about the Florida Keys that she would love to afford everyone a week in the Keys to catch that famous Keys Disease and experience the Duval Crawl in Key West. Folks that do experience it seems to come back every year, some of them permanently!
She is also a Notary Public for the state of Florida which means she can perform wedding ceremonies if you decide on a wedding in the Fabulous Florida Keys. There are many spots in the Keys that make for a beautiful setting and for a destination wedding.
