Janese was raised in rural Nebraska in a small farming town of 580 people and always knew she wanted to someday live in the South where people weren’t locked indoors for months at a time because it was just too cold to go outside, and didn’t want to get that snowblower out to get out of the driveway. She eventually got her chance after moving to Des Moines, IA where she had worked her way up to terminal manager for a national trucking company. In 2013 she was offered a promotion to manage the Mobile, AL Terminal so they loaded up and although sight unseen ventured to Daphne, AL and never looked back.
In 2014, Janese was offered another promotion that was demanding and included travel 3 out of 4 weeks a month so after almost four years she decided to start a new adventure that would be close to home to have quality family time. She took a job with a home builder and worked in the Closing and Marketing Departments and got to see the joy of buyers throughout the process of buying a new home. Her husband, Josh, has also worked in banking, mortgage, and title so they decided why not get their real estate license to be able to use the knowledge that they both have learned to give both buyers and sellers a great experience while going through the real estate transaction process.
They both agree there are things they may have done differently when purchasing their home had they had the guidance and personal connection when they purchased. Such as finding out more of what they liked to do for hobbies, school systems, dog parks and things that meant so much to them and putting them close to activities which would make their time more efficient. The one thing they would not change is the area they live because it truly is a blessing to live and be a part of communities that are so committed to making things better for everyone who is lucky enough to call this home.
