Jann Godwin, Broker/Owner of Timberline Properties, Inc., is a native of Charlotte, NC, but with deep roots in the Carolina mountains. Her husband, Davis Godwin, is a descendant of one of the original families to make Little Switzerland their summer home, and then later their full-time home. Jann and Davis have enjoyed ownership of their current chalet home in Little Switzerland for 19 years and have made Little Switzerland their full-time home since 1999.
Jann has served as President (2002) of the Yancey-Mitchell Board of Realtors; Board Member of the Yancey/ Mitchell Multiple Listing Service, and MLS Director and Publication Chairman. Also, a member of the Western North Carolina Multiple Listing Service serving the Asheville area. She is a member of the Property Management Division and the Vacation Rental Managers Association through the North Carolina Association of Realtors.
She has been active in her community, in the Spruce Pine Rotary Club, and in donating both her time and her business’ support to numerous projects and charities. She has been honored as a Paul Harris Fellow.
Jann has been active in the Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce ever since becoming a full-time resident of Mitchell County. She has served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors, Finance Committee, Travel & Tourism, and she is a current member of the Government Affairs Committee.
Jann is proud of her family ties to Little Switzerland and its history, her professional Residential Resort Specialist (RRS) designation and Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) Certification, her successful business ownership and management experience, and her extensive marketing knowledge gained in the highly competitive Charlotte business market.
