Jarrett Thornton

Born and raised in Sulphur Springs Texas, Jarrett grew up in a construction family, since 1993 his family has owned and operated Thornton Contractors, an East Texas concrete construction company. After graduating high school in Sulphur Springs, he continued his education at Paris Junior College before transferring to Texas Tech University in pursuit of his Finance degree in Real Estate in Lubbock.

After living in Lubbock for a brief time he dove into the local real estate market and began investing into residential rental properties. Jarrett’s passion to help others was soon realized as he began to get more involved with the local communities and various organizations. As Jarrett continues to build his residential rental portfolios, he also seeks investment opportunities to flip homes, purchase apartments, develop commercial properties, and host short term rentals on Airbnb or HomeAway. After being an investor for several years Jarrett decided to bring his knowledge and investment experience together to become a licensed real estate agent with Progressive Properties. He hopes to better serve his clients with their investments whether they are new ones or old ones, Jarrett is your guy.
