Jason was proud to call Liberty Borough home for more than 35 years. He graduated from South Allegheny High School, class of 1995, with a passion of giving back to the community through academics and athletics. Jason pursued his dream of teaching by graduating from California University of Pennsylvania with a degree in elementary and special education. Before being hired by the South Allegheny School District as a special education teacher, Jason honed his skills by working with children with behavior difficulties. Mr. Ruzich teaches special education with 20 years’ experience and contributed to South Allegheny’s athletic program in basketball, track and field, soccer, and golf. He was also a member on Liberty Borough’s council for 9 years and in charge of the Parks-Recreation and Police committee.
Jason and his wife Heather are blessed with 4 children Jaycee, Gavin, Boden, and Haylee. In his spare time, he enjoys DJing, cheering on all Pittsburgh sports teams, hitting trails in his Jeep, camping, and family movie night.
Jason considers himself an asset to the real estate profession, because of his patience, commitment, enthusiasm, thoughtfulness, and hard work ethic that he utilizes in his teaching profession. As a realtor, Jason will always make the needs of his clients his top priority.
