We looked at a lot of places, and even had a few others in mind before we finally were able to snag one. Jeanne was incredibly patient with us and knew the process inside-out. Her advice was sage and appropriate and she was extremely accomodating to our schedules (we were shopping from out of town). She was there 24/7 to work all kinds of issues and concerns. Her expertise in the Albuquerque area is impressive. Gave us many options (both in home styles and areas around ABQ) when it came to house hunting. She let us decide what was the good and the bad. It was great working with her. Zero pressure. High Octane Patience and motivation. WOW! Once we made a decision, she followed through with every single aspect to close on the home. I found this particularly true when Jeanne took us out to look at different homes/neighborhoods in Corrales and the North Valley area of Albuquerque. She knew every nook and cranny really well -- including pricing trends, local issues, and the benefits/downsides of individual neighborhoods. As I buyer, I didn't have time to waste and Jeanne was able to cut right to the core. She really understood our needs and proved to me an excellent listener. Jeanne provided the most personalized, compassionate and professional experience I could ever have asked for in buying my home. As a single mother and business owner, I had specific qualities/guidelines as to what I wanted, and also what I was willing to spend- Jeanne has the ability to put forth a realistic package that provided both. Throughout the process Jeanne was knowledgeble,supportive, understanding and very flexible. Buying a home is a very serious decision and commitment- I would not have moved forward through this process at this time had it not been for her. I cannot praise my experience working with the team of Shireen Jacob and Jeanne Kuriyan highly enough as our agents while looking to buy a home in Corrales. 1st there was our main agent Shireen: moving is difficult and traumatic enough- but moving in middle age 2 states over after 20 years in the same home was more trauma than i ever imagined Thank god we had Shireen to guide us through finding the home of our dreams in Corrales. Shireen listened to us, and paid attention to exactly what it was we were looking for-not just the house itself, but the surroundings as well. After spending a day looking at our first selection of homes, she was able to help us narrow down our selections to exactly what we wanted-and after our final choice several months later- wasted no time seeing that we got the best possible deal. If we called the office- as we did- often-quite often- and Jeanne would answer -we didn't even have to wait to hear back from Shireen as Jeanne was apprised of our negotiation and could simply jump in and help without our waiting to speak directly with Shireen. Jeanne and Shireen were an outstanding team. They were personable, involved and truly understood what we were looking for.
