Jeff Engen

Hello! This is Jeff Engen. He is a lifelong resident of Whatcom County, and lover of the PNW. Jeff is married to his beautiful wife, Sara, and a father to 5 amazing kids, ages ranging from 18 months to 13 years old. Jeff attended both Whatcom Community College and Western Washington University, completing his bachelor’s degree in Management & Operations at Washington State University. He has spent more than 14 years working in the Natural Products industry, the past 6 of which he owned and operated my own sales brokerage. Jeff has been privileged to work with some of the top brands and retailers in the industry, including local companies like Barlean’s, The Community Food Coops, and PCC. Late in 2019, Jeff accepted a position as Sales Executive at Chicago Title in Bellingham and began learning about all things Title and Escrow. Working closely with real estate agents as a main function of his job, he quickly realized that his interests and skill set would be best utilized by making the pivot into real estate. A journey of which he is incredibly excited and grateful to pursue. The challenges the world was forced to navigate in 2020 were significant. For many of us, home quickly became more than just the place we, “live.” Home became our office, our school, our gym, our place of worship, and more – causing many of us to reassess our preferences, priorities, and needs specific to where we reside. As a homeowner, Jeff understands the range of thoughts and emotions that go into both buying and selling real estate. For some it is a grand adventure, while others find it to be stressful and terrifying. Many seem to find themselves perhaps somewhere in between. Regardless of where you fall on the spectrum, Jeff is excited to be your partner, your advisor, your advocate, and your cheerleader, every step along the way! When he is not working, he can be found spending time with his family, gardening in our back yard, trail running throughout the Chuckanut, Galbraith, and Lake Padden trail systems, cross training, salmon fishing, or dabbling on the drums or the guitar. All the while, likely enjoying a hot cup of coffee, a cold IPA, or glass of bourbon. Jeff encourages you to reach out with any real estate related questions.
