Highly recommended by a group of teachers that I work with and after several months of working with him, Jeffery Decatur has defined himself as what every real estate agent should strive to be.

He has an extreme knowledge base and pulse of this unprecedented market, trustworthy, responsive (day or night), kind, relatable, professional, patient, friendly, and not only willing, but does go above and beyond other agents to ensure his clients best interest.

Thinking about buying and selling a home simultaneously, as a family of six, was completely daunting. We appreciated how Jeffrey was completely transparent with the possible obstacles that we may endure and at the same time was optimistic and driven to start this process with us.

From start to finish, he made the process as stress free as possible. He began by giving us tips on how to make our home more marketable for sale and sold our home within days! He was reassuring throughout the whole process and continued to outdo himself time after time until the simultaneous closings.

He is friendly, funny, and personable. Our four children couldn’t wait to see Mr. Decatur while we were house hunting; even after weeks of settling into our new home, they continue to thank God for him and appreciate him each night when they each go to sleep in their brand new rooms!

We could not have been more blessed. With Jeffery’s decades of experience, he was able to provide a list of trusted and skilled contacts to complete our selling and home buying. He was thorough, anticipated and answered all of our questions before we asked, was always two steps ahead, and could not have been better in any other way.

Jeffrey is absolutely the best. He helped my family sell our home (it was off the market within 72 hours) and purchase our dream home. You can count on him every step of the way with his honest (oh he doesn't hold back!) feedback and his ability to get it done. I am very "type A" and Jeffrey remained one step ahead of me throughout the process and learned to answer my questions before I even asked them. Jeff was professional and attentive from even before we signed a contract with him until after the house was sold. He was straight forward and always provided the best strategic advise. He was always prompt in answering my questions (and believe me, I had lots). Our house was sold in record time and for more than the asking price. Jeff was especially helpdul and knowledgeable in regards to the inspection phase. I don't know how an agent could make a seller's experience any better.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Jeffrey! He helped me find my perfect first home 6.5 years ago and the experience went so well that he was the first person I contacted when it was time to sell my home. He was always incredibly responsive and before I had time to ask questions, he already knew my questions and was giving me answers. From recommending a great attorney, following through on multiple offers, and giving professional advise on how to best proceed throughout the whole process, the entire process was seamless and not nearly as scary as I thought selling a home would be. I can't say enough good things about my experience in purchasing my first home with Jeff Decatur as my guide. He was not only incredibly patient as we viewed house after house (after house... after house), but he judiciously provided the facts as I navigated my choices. When I'd solicit his opinion, he was measured in response to make sure that ultimately the decision was mine and that I was happy with it. He negotiated terms that were fair, provided reasons why, and fought like a Papa Bear for my interests. Not only did I have a great experience buying my home, I got an education too.

During out house shopping in the Averill Park ny we were introduced to two other realtors.
It wasn’t until we found Jeffrey through Sunmark federal credit union that everything seemed to come together.
From the very beginning Jeffrey was very upfront, professional with how it was going to be from beginning to end.
Jeffrey also sold our old house for us and it was very challenging Jeffrey never backed down just kept pushing forward.

Jeffrey was super professional and great to work with from the beginning to the end of the home buying process. At the beginning, he met with me and my boyfriend and laid out everything for us - what we could expect and every step of the process. He explained everything to us thoroughly and in language we could understand. After that, whenever we wanted to view a house, he would set it all up and schedule it as quick as possible, sometimes even that day. He was always available and quick to reply to us if we ever had any questions or needed to get in contact with the other agent or the sellers of the house.
Jeffrey was very dependable and fought for us to the bitter end, always giving his professional opinion when we asked.
