I absolutely love the fact that Jen made sure I enjoyed my first home-buying experience to the fullest...despite the fact that I am deaf and rely on lip-reading to understand and participate in conversations. Jen went above and beyond and was ready to secure a sign-language interpreter if I needed. I was 100% confident with Jen's knowledge and expertise from our first contact (by text message) to the day of closing. Even now, Jen continues to help me and my sons with tips and referrals to services we may still need. Such as movers, a new security system, and even furniture deals. This lady truly does it ALL! We have used Jen three times - once for selling our townhouse, once for buying a house, and lastly for helping us rent our house and finding an excellent renter. She knows Elmhurst particularly well with multiple contacts and has good relationships with other realtors. She is very sharp and resourceful- in one case having us lower our offer for a house that was overpriced and wouldn’t meet bank appraisal. She is very good at coming up with creative ideas and approaches and works very hard but easy to
work with. Clearly the best realtor in Elmhurst.

I read a lot of reviews to narrow down the unbearable amount of choices we have these days. I don't write many. I didn't read any of the reviews about Jen Coyte before I became her client, and you can skip reading the rest of this and all the other great reviews and just call her. She is the real deal, a Realtor, on your side negotiator, and massive problem solver.

I wish she had been my Realtor in selling my house, since the trouble she got me out of likely would never have happened in the first place.

By the time I met Jen, I was desperate to find a 9 month rental that met a bunch of divorce parenting agreement and personal career demands. My house was under contract and I felt like I was on my own, after trying desperately to negotiate transition terms during the Lawyer review period of the contract (hint: not the best time to do that).

Jen does something that I wished other Realtors felt was part of their job, she figures out what's possible rather than what is customary or currently the norm. She negotiates for what is important to you, and in my case protects you if market conditions are shifting under your feet.

I'm writing this review so you have a chance to meet Jen Coyte. So you can hire a Realtor that will not only find you a home and/or sell your current one, she will make sure you make that transition comfortably.

Jen is an outstanding and caring real-estate agent and now a close friend. I purchased my place in Schaumburg, IL in 2018, rented it in early 2020 and now closing on the sale of it in just over two weeks, all with Jen. There was no other option considered. I have complete trust in her abilities and would provide testimony of her abilities and foresight to anyone whom asks. Jen thinks for her customers assuring their protection almost playing out the first 12-18 months for her clients after a purchase, to again make certain they they have a clear head prior to deciding as she did for me. Funny story when buying the Condo referenced above, she refused to let me make an offer until I looked at all of the listings she had on her list for us to see as I was a first time buyer. I am glad she did as I had no doubts when I made the offer, not one, nor did I at any time after. I will always appreciate that. Recently I was in a position to sell my home of 33+ years. A close friend referred me to Jen as they had worked with Jen to sell their home as well. I was not ready to sell the house at the time, but Jen came by and we discussed what I may or may not want to do to the house, provide comp data, etc. I decided to perform updates to the house and told Jen I would let her know when I was ready to move forward. Jen stayed continually engaged with me sending me listings in the area so we could continue to monitor the market. When the time came to finally list after about 2 months, she continued to stay with me every step of the way via text, phone, in person any time day/night/weekend.
We listed the house on a Thursday, had one offer after the first showing the next day, and more on the weekend. The house was under contract in 3 days and we closed in 29 days. I was amazed at how quickly the process progressed. Jen was not only my agent but she provided advice and kind support as this was a difficult process personally to go through leaving my house after such a long time. She knows the market and it certainly was invaluable to getting the house marketed and sold.
I cannot say enough how seamless she made this experience and I would absolutely contact her if I was interested in buying or selling again!

As a first time home buyer, Jen was truly an outstanding realtor. We weren't familiar with the area as we lived in Old Town, Chicago our entire time in Chicago. She took the time to truly get to know us and actively searched for homes that would fit our style.

Once we were ready to start seeing homes, she quickly setup appointments at our convenience. Jen was great at guiding us through the process. She quickly responded to any random question or concern. She really listened to our wants and needs in order to find us the ideal home for us.

Another huge positive was how well she knew the western suburbs. I felt like we couldn't drive down the street without someone giving her a friendly wave or her giving letting us know about things like The Elmhurst Neighbors and Newcomers Club. Also, she has a long list of great referrals for lawyers, inspectors, bankers, contractors, and painters.

Overall I couldn’t be happier with our new home and the service Jen provided. She routinely kept us notified when inspections were due and when paperwork needed to be completed. She really made the home searching process fun and gave us confidence in buying our first home. She has our business for life and would gladly recommend her to anyone!
