Jen helped sell my home in Port Townsend, Washington -- the Pacific Northwest – in mid-winter and mid-holiday season. She is extremely knowledgeable of the market and her profession so the fact the timing wasn’t ideal did not faze Jen. Together, we developed a plan. And including me in each step and getting my input was a huge plus. Jen took the time to get things right.
No matter what complexity was thrown our way, Jen managed to keep the process smooth and seamless. She is professional yet personable as well. I genuinely enjoyed working with Jen. That’s important in any relationship but when you’re buying or selling a home, it can be stressful for everyone; however, Jen made me feel everything was under control and she was looking out for my best interest. Those are just a few reasons I give Jen my highest recommendation. Oh, and my property sold quickly and for what Jen had predicted at the very beginning.

Jen knows the market, especially old houses and that's what we were looking for. She was very quick to respond to all our nervous home buyer questions and stayed on top of the closing process, making sure things moved along according to schedule. We recently sold our vacation home with the help, guidance, and steady hand provided by Jen Rubinowitz. As it turned out, all of her skills were needed as the transaction process was about as fraught with pitfalls as anyone could imagine. That was due to the buyers dragging their feet on every single step of the way and while the buyers lacked any support or oversight from their real estate agent to keep things moving along. Yet through it all, Jen managed the process and our team's thinking and emotions to get us through it, extremely well. She is a pro who knows all phases of her business, very well. We recently decided to place our condo in Port Townsend on the market.
Our realtor who sold us the condo had moved out of state. We decided to use Jen Rubinowitz of Coldwell Banker. We contacted Jen for an appointment -- she came over that day and we started the process. Jen immediately set out to sell our condo by hiring a professional photographer using both the photographs and technology of matter-port -- she posted our condo one day and we received an offer the next day.

She assisted us with every aspect of the sale -- large and small. We absolutely loved our condo and loved living at San Juan Crest Condominiums. We adored our neighbors and had no intentions of buying another home for a few years.

Thank you Jen for making the sale and transition so smooth. Although we did not intend to purchase another property, she listed to our long-term goals and found a property that was perfect. So we decided to contract with her again to purchase the new property.

Through the process she provided information about the area and continues to provide information about insurance, electricians and public services. My husband and I were referred to Jen by the Coldwell Banker agent that we had been working wth out of Anacortes. The house we bought in Port Townsend was on our short list to view and was listed by the Coldwell Banker agent in Port Ludlow, which made the subsequent negotiations and transactions somewhat simpler. Jen just happened to have a vacation scheduled over 3000 miles away, so we were immediately also introduced to Carol Wise , another experienced C. B. broker ( and Port Townsend native)! to work with us while she was away. I quickly learned, however, that despite being on vacation Jen stayed on top, both through Carol and electronic communications, with every step in the process and we counted on her advice by phone, text, and email. Bottom line: both Jen and Carol were extremely proactive in representing us to achieve a positive outcome in the sale, including excellent local recommendations for a mortgage lender, the escrow and title companies, and property inspection service providers. They also very kindly met us at our door upon arrival on the day of escrow close (we drove from our former home in CA) and even presented us with complimentary substantial oval area gift certificates at their personal expense. Not only that, Jen ordered pizza and drinks and brought them back to us for our first night’s meal. Both Jen and Carol have also made it clear that, despite the completion of the formal client relationship, that they are available to share their experience and knowledge of the greater Port Townsend and Jefferson County community. In short, we couldn’t have been happier with the service provided by Jen, Carol, and their Coldwell Banker Port Townsend team.

There were so many realtors to choose from when we started shopping for homes in Port Townsend, but we chose Jen because of all the rave reviews she had received from previous clients, and because of her many years of experience in the real estate business. We also wanted someone who was a full-timer, unlike so many of the other agents out there. It turned out to be one of the best choices we have made in all our lives. Jen was so patient with us, taking us from house to house through the worst snow and ice Port Townsend has experienced in many years. Most importantly, she KNOWS the local market - she took the time to really understand what we wanted, and then she gave us the inside scoop on which of those properties were in the best locations and were the best deals. She even wisely counseled us to stay away from one that just had too much risk associated with it. Since we were 2000 miles away, we needed someone like Jen who would personally take care of all the followup details in our absence. She put in an enormous amount of time in the negotiations for our home, walking through with the home inspector and appraiser, getting bids from contractors for repair work, strategizing when we were having issues with our lender, and promptly answering every random question that popped into our heads. She even sent periodic videos of the beautiful view from our home! We plan to live in Port Townsend for the rest of our lives, and we are happy to have found a new long-term friend in Jen. There might be other “good" realtors out there, but Jen is in the “fabulous” category.

We have dealt with many realtors through multiple moves and will state to anyone that Jen has provided the best service we have even received and has been an absolute joy to work with! Attention to detail, professionalism, trustworthiness, communication skills, customer dedication, responsiveness and friendliness have all been displayed in abundance!! As the seller's agent she represented us thoroughly, covering even the smallest detail. She staged the house before EVERY showing. Was there for repairs, met us at title for the doc signing. She has been with us through two potential buyers and hung in there, never missing a step. Thoroughly reviewed every page of the offers to make sure that we were getting a fair offer. We never felt that we were on our own. If we were to need another agent in the future, Jen would definitely be the one.
