About Jen

Jen True is a Broker and Owner of True Real Estate and True Commercial. A true entrepreneur, Jen has been through it all. A self-proclaimed introvert, Jen quickly realized her building blocks would revolve around integrity, kindness, and genuinely caring for the lives of those around her. Her father, a former Marine, instilled lofty expectations in her along with hard work and ethics. In 2001 Jen’s real estate career as a single parent of two boys, Tyler, and Tanner, started out of her Volkswagen Jetta. As life continued it was around 2009, when Jen was not sure if she was cut out for the real estate industry. Hardships and obstacles kept being placed in her path, yet somehow her determination carried her through those tough times.

Refocused, she climbed her way back from almost getting out of the industry to being one of the top-selling REALTORS® in the Mankato area. In 2016 Jen had bigger plans for herself. After a self-reflecting trip to the Grand Canyon with her two sons and nephews, True Real Estate was born. Jen became a broker/owner of an independent brokerage. The home office sits perfectly between the ever-busy Riverfront Drive and the north-flowing Minnesota River. The building is the former train station, Mankato Union Depot, which signifies moving onward and upward, one of Jen’s strategies as she continues to grow.

Wanting the best of the best, Jen sought out a marketing firm to help create an eye-catching, attention-grabbing brand that would stand out like no other. Orange would do just that: the color is believed to bring the ability to inspire creativity, happiness, and success, all things Jen and her team strive for daily.

The brand represents the history element all while being a new, renovated infusion of contemporary energy. Jen has grown her brokerage from a small team of five to now sixty-nine active agents in just five short years. True Real Estate has been the Mankato area market leader since 2018. As True Real Estate continues to grow, Jen is always displaying encouragement and admiration for others to succeed. With a coaching style along with a collaborative and democratic approach, Jen’s leadership will always be at the helm of True Real Estate.
