After calling the High Country my home for 40+ years I’m excited to help you call it yours too…whether you’re a first time home buyer, someone relocating to our area, an expanding family or a visitor seeking a little piece of heaven to call their own and escape “the real world.” I was born and raised here, and now I am happy to raise my two children here. The area affords that laid back lifestyle with just enough culture and “city” to attract all kinds. With the 2nd best ranked school district in North Carolina, Appalachian State University, the Schafer Center for the Performing Arts, the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts, area attractions, beautiful weather and the most gorgeous mountains you couldn’t ask for more in the place you call home. Upon completing college with my accounting degree I worked for a successful and well established real estate firm in Banner Elk, NC for 15 years doing everything from advertising, filing bookkeeping, listing/selling preparations, and becoming very familiar with the real estate world and sparking my love for everything real estate. I was fortunate enough to transition into a job as the Membership Coordinator at the High Country REALTORS® Association and then as the Chief Executive Officer at the High Country Home Builders Association.
