Jennifer Finigan

My name is Jennifer Finigan and I am a third generation Del Norte County resident. I graduated from Del Norte High School and attended College of the Redwoods before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.

I was fortunate to grow up in a time when the fishing and logging industries were booming. I will never forget the family outings to watch my Grandfather's boat pull in and out of the harbor, and the excitement of watching them unload. Much to my Grandmother's dismay, crab races on her kitchen floor were a favorite of all the grandchildren. My paternal Grandfather owned a fleet of logging trucks and I loved going to Simpson's mill to see them all lined up or preparing preparing to haul. I have so many fond memories of growing up here and believe there truly is "no place like home".

Much has changed in our area, but a strong sense of community and family values remain constant. People want to raise their families and establish or strengthen roots here in Del Norte County. The decision to purchase or sell a home brings with it feelings of excitement, fear and questions that require a person with an extensive knowledge of the area and real estate market to assist you.
