I found Clever Realty when looking for a low-cost real estate agent. Agents listed with them charge a 1.5% fee. I contacted a few, and Jen was the first to respond, which continued throughout the process. She was swift to respond to all my questions. The last time I bought was 30 years ago so a lot has changed and I had a lot of questions. She also worked really well with all the other persons involved in the sale and the buying of the new property. She always stayed on top of what was going on and always followed up on ongoing issues.
tl;dr, I highly recommend Jen for your real estate needs.

After having bought and sold a couple of houses over the years, my opinion of realtors was very low based on my experience. I have said that the industry is ripe for disruption but is currently a necessary evil for making a real estate transaction.

Enter Jennifer Mason, the gold standard for Realtors. She has a warm personality and is professional and well spoken. She is not high pressure at all and understands the significance that buying and selling property has in someone's life. As you are working and talking with her, she is relying on her keen instincts as to whether you are ready to take a step or not so you never feel pressure, but she also has the effective communication skill and follow-through to advocate for you and close the deal when the time comes. Cutting corners is never considered by Jen which is clear when she places importance on things such as well-written property descriptions and leveraging highly-skilled professionals in her network for photographing and marketing your property. She provides expert guidance throughout the process and works tirelessly to get your property listed and sold efficiently.

I highly recommend Jen to anyone in the Massachusetts or New Hampshire area looking for a top notch realtor with the experience, detail-orientation, and personality you will be thankful to have on your side during any real estate transaction.

Jen really exceeded our expectations for a realtor. We used her to both sell and buy our houses in our move. She worked with us to refine what we were looking for so we could find something that fit us. She was readily available and always seemed to be on top of what was happening at every step. We are lucky to have Jen as our agent during our journey of first home-buying. As a first-time homebuyer, there are a lot of technical/procedural things to tackle and understand. In addition, timing and networking are essential, especially in a crazy market like in Boston. Having a back of Jen made our journey significantly a lot less overwhelming. Jen is professional as well as has a heart full of warmth and cares. She cares about the client, a lot :), as if she is buying her own property. Responsiveness and punctuality are her synonyms. Her independent opinion about the “property” helped us a lot in understanding/educating “how to look for a house”, and we were able to find a house that we are loving a lot.

She was always prompt, and would follow up and through on the entire process until the closing. We had many agents reaching out to us prior to deciding to sell our Melrose house FSBO, but Jen is the only one that impressed us. Even though we decided to not use a real estate agent for the transaction, Jen still offered guidance and willingness to help while staying on top of our house selling stages. Without doubt, Jen is highly knowledgeable about the local housing market and pricing strategies which are crucial to sell or buy a house. These qualities are easily conveyed in her informative and data backed email newsletters. What makes her stand out the most, is her consultative approach coupled by her persistent but easy going style. Her professionalism is too hard to find in today's market where top agents are mostly arrogant and under performers are way too pushy. Hire Jen, and you won't regret it!

This review is for Jen Mason. I am a first time home buyer and just recently bought a beautiful house in Billerica. The home buying process was very intimidating to me at first but Jen was able to simplify everything and walked me through each step. Jen was very patient with me as I was taking my time looking for the perfect home for me and my dog. Jen was in constant contact and very responsive, answering any questions I may have had. I attended a few open houses with Jen and she was very honest about which houses would and would not work best for me. She truly had my best interest in mind and did not try to pressure me on bidding the first house I wanted to view. I received new listings from Jen based on the criteria I was looking for in a house. I finally saw one that was perfect and had everything I was looking for. I immediately told Jen and she was able to set up a showing and put a bid in the same day! If not for Jen’s knowledge of the bidding process and what to include/not include, I would have surely missed out on this house. Even after winning the bid, Jen was making sure I completed all the required paperwork and let me know what was coming up next. Jen made the home buying process seem very simple. Lamacchia’s loan team at Guaranteed Rate was super helpful and easy to deal with as well. After moving into my house and settling in, Jen still touches base to make sure I’m doing well and relays any information that the previous homeowners wanted to give me. I highly recommend Jen Mason especially for anyone new to the home buying market.
