She has grown up in Muscatine and found her weekend go-to for all things shopping and entertainment in the Quad Cities. After getting married, she relocated to Milwaukee and started a family. There, she worked in real estate for custom home builders and remodelers as their in-house designer and sold residential construction contracts. She assisted clients with material selections and floorplan modifications for new construction and remodeling projects. In 2006, shortly after the birth of their daughter, she and her husband moved back "home" to Iowa. They, along with their Golden Doodle, happily reside in Bettendorf.
