No matter your circumstance, the buying or selling of a home constitutes a significant investment – emotionally as well as financially. To navigate the process successfully you need to rely on a trusted advisor with local expertise and excellent bedside manner. If your real estate journey is on the north Oregon Coast, the only person you should work with is Jenny Rapp of Totem Properties.

Although I was familiar with the Coast having lived in the PNW most of my life, I was an out-of-state buyer and needed a resource to help me find my dream home. Jenny is an empathetic and active-listener, truly hearing what I was trying to say, and she was able to quickly suss-out the goals I was trying to accomplish. We worked together remotely at first until I was able to spend time with her and eventually, we landed on the perfect home to suit my needs. Jenny set practical expectations for me and was abundantly clear as to what had to happen and when in order for the deal to go through without a hitch. When I needed referrals for financing, title and inspection, Jenny provided me with vetted options, all of whom were great. Without exaggeration, the entire process, from the first contact with Jenny to my move-in day, was smooth and a pleasure. Buying and selling can be stressful, but Jenny’s compassion and proactive communication helped to mitigate my anxiety. I hope to live in my new home for many years, and when I may be ready to sell, Jenny is the only person I’ll call.

I generally tend to avoid writing reviews or answering surveys but every so often I’m so impressed with the service someone provides that I can’t keep it to myself. Jenny Rapp, and the experience she facilitated, is one of the handful of times in my life that far exceeded all expectations. Don’t leave a buying or selling decision to chance – call Jenny and you’ll feel appreciated and advocated for the entire time.

Jenny Rapp is a fantastic real estate agent and we consider ourselves extremely lucky to have had her help when we sold our home. She is so knowledgeable and communicative and made us feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. Jenny has an amazing eye to detail that was really helpful to us as sellers to put our best foot forward, but would be equally valuable to a buyer looking at the fine points of a possible new home. Jenny went above and beyond for us and I would not hesitate to ask her help again or recommend her to friends.

What can I say, Jenny is great! She is delightful to work with and we feel incredibly lucky to have ended up with her since we were out-of-state home buyers and didn't know anyone or have any recommendations for realtors in Seaside. When we found a great looking house listed one Sunday afternoon, we flew up the very next morning and crossed our fingers that we could arrange a showing. The listing broker referred us to Jenny, who meet us at the property with just a few hours notice. During that first showing she was thoughtful, thorough, and straight forward with the pros and cons of the property, the community, and area, which was insightful since we were not from Oregon. As every good realtor should, she also provided us some other potential properties to check out based on our priorities, that we hadn't found online ourselves. Ultimately, we decided to move ahead with the first house, and through the entire purchasing process Jenny kept impressing us. Her communication was superb, always making us feel informed with what the next step in the process was, what deadlines were approaching and what we needed to do to complete the closing successfully. Her interaction and coordination with the other parties involved was also amazing, including the seller, the bank, the insurance co., the inspectors and title co., she just made it seem like a well oiled machine, which having personally bought and sold over 10 houses in the last 10 years, I know it is definitely not! Even when things were hitting the fan due to an inspection resolution issue Jenny was calm, confident and a hell of a negotiator, getting us just what we needed to resolve the issues. In the end, we obviously got the house and are loving it. We can't thank Jenny enough, and would never consider using anyone else in the future. Do yourself a favor and work with Jenny!
