Jessica Cannon joined the Toles, Temple & Wright family in October 2024, drawn by the brokerage’s culture and people. Jessica and her family moved from the Brunswick–St. Simons Island area to Floyd County when her husband, Geoff Cannon, was hired as the new head football coach at Coosa High School. Upon relocating to Rome, the Cannon family was immediately struck by the area’s Southern hospitality, describing it as the most welcoming and friendly place they have ever lived. They were especially appreciative of the graciousness shown by community members — a quality they found uniquely uncommon.
The Marietta native graduated from Walton High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in international business from Auburn University. Although originally from East Cobb, Jessica’s family roots run deep along Georgia’s Golden Isles, extending back several generations.
She has held various roles both directly and indirectly related to real estate. After graduating from Auburn, she worked as a sales assistant at a regional mortgage lending firm, later joining Monte Hewett Homes as the development company’s closing coordinator. In 2005, she and her family moved from metro Atlanta to coastal Georgia, both for her husband’s career and to be closer to her parents. Her real estate journey officially began in 2015, when she transitioned from a stay-at-home parent to a role as marketing assistant for the realty team at Frederica Golf Club, a private luxury golf community. In January 2021, Jessica became a licensed agent, joining a brokerage sales team based on St. Simons Island. There she enjoyed helping clients and promoting the distinctive coastal lifestyle and strong sense of community.
Jessica has a keen eye for details and a knack for numbers. She is also an insightful negotiator and listener who understands that the concept of “home” is far more than four walls. Her background working in mortgage lending, custom home building, and real estate marketing, along with her personal experiences, makes her an excellent resource for clients buying and selling homes.
Jessica and her husband are passionate advocates for foster care and previously served as licensed foster parents. She enjoys traveling, running, playing pickleball, and supporting her children and husband in various activities. Jessica and Geoff have four children: Kirkland, Charlie, Philip and Ella. The Cannon family resides in Rome.
