About Jessica

Hello and welcome!

I am a true native to Buncombe County here in WNC and have lived in Candler, NC my entire life. I love to spend time outside with my family fishing, hiking, or camping in the beautiful mountains that surround us here. I have been riding motorcycles since 2008 and love the feeling of freedom that being on two wheels provides. I have been an active member in my Church since 2009 and currently teach the teenage class as well as organize the youth events we hold quarterly. I love helping people and am excited to see what the future holds for all of us!

I attended UNC-Asheville for my bachelor’s degree in psychology and graduated in 2007. I spent the next few years working with the autistic community in local group homes with WNC Group Homes. I married my husband in 2009 and took a step back from the group homes when I had my first son in 2011. We then welcomed our second son in 2015 as I had just started my career in property management. I had a major life change when I got into a motorcycle accident. I spent a total of 22 days in the hospital and went through 6 surgeries to now have a titanium rod that runs from my knee to my ankle on my left leg. Life is back to as normal as possible thanks to my amazing God, the best Dr., and super supportive family and friends!
