After immigrating from China to San Francisco in 1998, becoming a real estate professional was a natural progression for Jinyong “Stanley” Zhu.
Stanley has always been fascinated by the field of finance. His career began to blossom with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from San Francisco State University. He worked his way up at Wells Fargo, starting as a bank teller and eventually working as a relationship manager. From there, he entered the investment industry, which further refined his skills in customer service and representing his clients’ best interests.
Buying his own home in 2015 focused his interest on real estate. The house was a fixer-upper that he worked on for two years to make it habitable. The experience gave him not only a personal appreciation of the challenges and rewards of real estate but a deeper understanding of what such an investment can mean to people. He likes collaborating with first-time buyers who are making their initial decisions about investing in real estate. His greatest reward is seeing his clients’ happiness when he can fully satisfy their needs.
As much as he loves San Francisco, Stanley has lived in Daly City for a couple of years and prefers its slower, quieter pace while remaining close by in the Bay Area. In his spare time, he likes golfing and watching basketball, and he still delves into the stock market, tinkering with his portfolio and managing his investments.
