Joanne entered the real estate industry following a 36-year career in the world of package transportation where she worked as an international customer service manager and finally as a project engineering specialist for FedEx Express. Not a native of Tennessee, she grew up in New York, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. It is her love of working with people that pushed her to take a chance on becoming a realtor and she instantly fell in love with it.

Joanne has a true passion for homes. It all started with her husband and her building several custom homes for their family and friends. She quickly learned how basic framing can become a beautiful house. With all her experience watching and being a part of the building process, her understanding of how they are designed allows her to pass on that knowledge to you. She knows what items will retain their value the most and which repairs will get you the highest return on your investment.

Away from the real estate world, her husband David and children have enjoyed Pickwick Lake’s breathtaking views and water sports activities for 30+ years as weekenders and now as full-timers in the home they built in The Preserve at Pickwick Lake. Joanne also is an animal lover and enjoys cooking, entertaining, and gardening.
