Jody Faris

I am proud to call myself a Pueblo Native! I attended and graduated Valedictorian of Pueblo
County High School, and after graduation I decided to attend the University of Southern
Colorado where I studied Veterinary Medicine.

Born and raised in the country, I developed a healthy respect for the land and its inhabitants.
Animals are a passion of mine, and the larger the animal, the larger my passion! I grew up
riding, showing, and caring for horses, so I grew to love and understand these gentle
creatures. Today, I continue to pursue my love of animals with my 3 beautiful daughters by
raising and showing horses and various kinds of livestock.

I am privileged to call the community of Pueblo “Home”, and am so proud of what it has to
offer. With this being said, I love being able to give back. In 2016 - 2017 I was chair of The
Pueblo Associations of Young Professionals Network (YPN), and during this time we raised
money for the Beulah Burn Area victims. The YPN members came together with the Horses
for Houses organization, and co-hosted a horse ride charity fund. We also conducted a food
drive, and were fortunate enough to have received and donated over 850 food items to the
local Soup Kitchen. In the beginning of the 2017 school year, we participated in a school
supply drive, and were able to provide school supplies to children in need at our local schools.
I have been blessed with a great life and career path. What other job allows one to help
people make their dreams a reality, and help set them on life’s path? Whether helping my
clients to buy or sell property, I am there every step of the way. Figuratively holding my
clients hands, helping them to negotiate through one of the most stressful times of their lives
so that they can continue to make their dreams come true.

For 3 1/2 years now I have been a licensed Real Estate Agent, but have been involved in Real
Estate for over 20 years with my own personal purchases and experiences. In 2016 I held the
title of Rookie of the Year at Jones-Healy, and I have also received Jones-Healy’s Gold Award
for having been one of the top producers of the year.
