My wife and I are so happy we chose Joel to be our realtor! After trying to find a house for 2 years in this crazy seller's market, we finally got a beautiful house with an amazing backyard in Woodstock!

We were using another realtor last year and my wife and I decided to switch and try someone else. We heard about Joel through my wife's sister and we decided to give him a try.

Joel did not disappoint! He's cool, calm, collected and very knowledgable. What's even better is that he has a team working for you (it's not a one-man operation), which gives you an edge for getting the house you want!

Joel and his team are QUICK, too! Our house dropped in price on a Monday and it was within our budget. We saw the house at 12pm that day with Nolan (his assistant). At night, Joel's team had the offer written up and ready for us to e-sign (it would have been quicker if their system didn't go down that day). We e-signed the offer the next morning and a little after 6pm that day our offer was accepted by the seller! Jodie (Joel's admin assistant) said she's never seen an offer accepted that quickly!

As a first-time home buyer, Joel was there to answer any questions I had whether on the phone or by text. He guides you every step of the way all the way through closing so you know what to expect! He helped us get $3,000 off of the purchase price during our due diligence period!

Joel also offers a mortgage lender and a law firm that he frequently works with. We went with both of them and we're very happy we did!

Joel and his team did an amazing job and we finally have a house after waiting for 2 years! A big thank you to Joel and his team!!

Our house was shown to another "high end" real estate agent in town and was not really valued as a home to be sold by their firm. They undervalued the home in an effort just to make a quick turnaround on the home- we did not go with that agent. Joel and his team took a totally opposite approach. My wife and I decided on a lifestyle change and was looking to sell our townhome. We decided to interview Joel, among other agents, based on his reviews and his familiarity with our area. We met Joel at our house and, after interviewing him and hearing what he had to say, decided to move forward with him. He let us know that we should hold off putting our home on the market until beginning of April in order to get top dollar. We agreed and waited. When the time came we priced it higher, based on Joel's recommendation, than we thought originally we could get but we trusted Joel and we are so glad we did. Our home got an offer, for asking price (a new record for our type unit in the neighborhood) in less than a week. He helped throughout by giving us solid advice during the process. He advised us on what to do with inspection results and what the buyer was asking for. When the appraisal came back lower than the offer on the home, Joel came back to us saying our home was worth the asking price compared to other townhomes. We trusted Joel and the seller upped to meet where we wanted. I told Joel we trusted his advice which is not easy for me to do but I truly felt that way and it worked out better for us than we could have imagined. Go with Joel and you won't be disappointed.

We found Joel through online reviews and we are so glad we did. He has been the best agent we have ever worked with. We met Joel at our current house and did an interview with him. He answered all our questions thoughtfully and asked us details on what we were looking for, the area, the type of home, etc. Even before we had decided to work with him, he started sending us listings that were about to be, or had just been put, on the market. The market is very fast and homes go quickly so seeing homes as early as possible is very important. He always had good information and, more importantly, his opinion on the area, the home, and whether it would be good down the road. We looked at a couple that he smartly discouraged us from pursuing based on our previous conversations. When we found our dream home he helped us immensely throughout the purchase process. We talked about the price we should pursue and what we should expect from competition. He put into the sales contract things we hadn't even thought of but we are so glad he did. He also helped us with the results of the inspection and got more money to fix those items than we thought possible. He was with us, answering questions via text or phone whenever we needed up to the closing. I can't recommend Joel enough. He really is an expert and I am so glad he was on our side during this process.

Joel sold our home in less than a week for approximately 7% over the asking price, despite a recent history of depressed pricing in our neighborhood. We initially contacted him based on a very favorable experience from another one of his clients. He was always courteous and accessible, even during the holiday weekend. Also, Joel is very up-to-date with technology. The entire approval process (e.g., contract, addendum, inspection approval, etc.) was done electronically, which sped things along (we closed within about a month of our sale).
