Joel Svoboda and his team is the realtor you want to work with. We were lucky enough to have Joel find us our perfect home and sell our previous home. The attention and effort we received from Joel, which included connecting with Joel evening, weekends and vacations made the buying and selling of our homes a bit less stressful.

Joel personally handled requests from the buyer (which was in the evening and included some heavy lifting), connected us with local and reliable tradesman tor work on our new home, introduced us to locals and made us feel at home in our new house. Joel also gives back to the community and is very philanthropic. You are not just getting a great realtor you are getting a great person who loves his work and most of all loves helping people and the community.

Working with Joel, especially as a first time home buyer, was a dream. He was very accessible, answered all our questions patiently, and was very engaged during the the showings we attended.

When it came time to make an offer on our dream home, Joel put in the legwork on research and used his rapport with the seller's agent to get our offer right where it needed to be without breaking our budget. He was lightning fast on working through contingencies (he worked with his network of contractors/lenders to get an inspection within 18 hours of going under contract & renegotiated the sale based on the appraisal in the same day the appraisal was received) to ensure that everything moved along smoothly.

After closing, Joel continued to provide his knowledge, recommending great contractors to work through some projects we needed done.

I cannot recommend Joel highly enough to anyone who needs a realtor in the St. Louis area.

Of the 7 realtors I interviewed to represent the sale of my home. Joel was very responsive, did the work to determine the right price and did not play the game of "What do you think it is worth...?" It was so frustrating for the other relators to give me a huge range and wanting me to start at a low price which would result in multiple offers... made no sense to me. Our family worked with Joel and Jenn over the course of nearly four years to sell our home and purchase a new one. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend the Joel Svoboda team. They understood that we had options with our current home to either sell or renovate - and after a year of not finding the right house to buy, we decided to renovate and stay. In spite of this, Joel and Jenn continued to be a resource and sounding board for us as we spent a year working with an architect and contractor on renovation plans. I worked with Jenn Brenner to purchase a home in the St. Louis area. I am from Illinois, and drove 3 hours on two different weekends to visit homes. Jenn was very accommodating - she responds super quickly and provided information about neighborhoods in St. Louis. In particular, she sent me information about certain neighborhoods after I expressed an interest in houses in the area. That additional information was key to finding the right home.

We met Joel at an open house and then worked primarily with his associate, Jenn Brenner. Because we're a military family who moves a lot, this was the fourth home we've purchased and it could not have gone more smoothly. Jenn did a great job of helping us find houses that we might like and adjusted her recommendations as we looked at more homes. She attended several of the open houses with us so she could hear what we liked and didn't like. The home we finally purchased was one she recommended we see early because it had many of the features we had said we wanted - and it was a near-perfect fit. From then on, she and her associate Sarah helped us with the closing and ensured that things flowed smoothly. The home inspector Jennifer recommended was again the best we have encountered.
