About John
After graduating with a B.A. from the University of Oregon in 2007, there was not a doubt in his mind that he belonged in real estate because of his appreciation for architecture, interest in investments, love for construction and easy ability to communicate and understand the needs of others. He started his career working for Chicago’s top realtor, Mario Greco where he learned the art of sales and negotiations. He had an immediate fascination with the fast-paced environment and ability to utilize his interpersonal skills to communicate with sellers, buyers, developers, investors and contractors.
Being a part of the deal from start to finish is what kept him motivated and working diligently throughout the process. Later in his career he went to work for a redeveloper in Chicago’s Garfield Park neighborhood where he was taught how to buy investment properties by evaluating their ROI’s, capitalization rates and cash-flows. His success and determination in finding the best deals is what lead him to MACK Companies. He wanted to be part of an organization that understood the values of creating a better life for those around them by providing quality housing at affordable pricing. He started in the sales division but when the demand of the market became greater than they were used to he quickly headed the acquisition department and built a team and process that allowed the company to buy 30+ homes per month. It was a natural transition that he took his experience with buying and evaluating homes to the front line of sales.
