John Laramore

John Laramore is a Commercial Realtor with Wilkins and Company and is active in all aspects of Economic Development in the Danville region. He is a member of the City of Danville Industrial Development Authority (IDA), and the City of Danville Community Development Entity (CDE) Advisory Board, past member of The City Planning Commission and the Southern Virginia GO - Region 3 Advisory Committee. He has 28 years of experience in municipal construction projects throughout Virginia and North Carolina. He successfully managed a family-owned highway construction company which his grandfather began in 1926.

For over 70 years Laramore Construction Company built much of the infrastructure of Danville and the surrounding region. This included sub-divisions, industrial parks, state highways, municipal treatment plants, and utility projects. John’s background in the construction industry has proved to be an asset to his clients as they look to expand their operations or relocate their business to this area.
