Simply put, John loves what he does. And he has been fortunate to say that his entire professional life. John started as an interior architect in New York City and then crossed the country to California. After several years in San Francisco, he opened a boutique graphic design and marketing studio. Collaborating intimately with corporate executives, business owners and families, their studio created award-winning projects for Starwood Hotels, Screaming Eagle Winery, The Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund, Silverado Vineyards and more. John's approach with clients was to listen, talk with them to understand their desires and goals, then successfully collaborate to bring their visions to fruition.
Today he collaborates with real estate clients with the same process — discussing what they are looking to conduct and working together to realize their real estate goals. He also uses his unique architectural design background to visualize things from a unique perspective. This often reveals new opportunities for clients.
John is well-established in Maui’s luxury real estate market, with a long-term understanding of its nuances, particularly in the Wailea/Makena and Kapalua areas. While being a client who is either buying or selling, he focuses on what is happening, intuitively homing in on each side’s goals, creatively working around roadblocks, bringing the transaction to a successful close.
