About John
John Matoska, started his real estate career right here in Brunswick County. After moving to North Carolina from Jackson, New Jersey in 1992, John went to work for Brunswick Plantation as a Sales Executive. Within a few years, he joined the sales team at St. James Plantation, where he remained for 16 consecutive years.
After moving his family from Brunswick County to Wilmington, John was asked to start the sales and marketing program at Compass Pointe, where he would go on to work on the onsite sales team for another decade, helping families from all over the country find their perfect home in the coveted Wilmington area.
John amassed a wealth of knowledge over that 26-year span, not only in the real estate aspect of each transaction, but also with all of the elements that make up a buyer's decision inside a planned/amenity-community; the club membership, the HOA, architectural design standards, just to name a few.
