About John

John's Parker County heritage runs deep. He has lived in Weatherford or Brock, Texas his entire life and his family has roots in Parker County going back over 200 years. As a stand-out wide receiver at Weatherford High School, John earned All-District and State football honors before accepting a full scholarship to the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). After his time at UCO, John returned to Weatherford to join his father, Mick McGuire, as a car salesman at Durant Toyota. Over the course of the next 15 years, John was repeatedly recognized as one of the top-performing car salesmen in the State, ultimately working his way to the position of General Sales Manager of Durant Toyota in 2011.

Capitalizing on his extensive sales experience and love of Parker County, John earned his Texas real estate license in 2016.
