Having lived in Barrington for 27 years I was well aware of the John Morrison Team so when I made the decision to sell the house my 6 children were raised in, I made one phone call...to John Morrison.

John met me at the house and told me exactly what needed to be done in order to sell the house quickly and at top of market pricing. I followed John's instructions implicitly and after some major renovation that John deemed necessary, (thankfully he has an exceptional stable of contractors that were top shelf!), the weekend the property went live we received multiple offers above list price.

John advised me on what he thought was the best offer and ~4 weeks later the house closed at a price well above the listing price and I walked away thrilled and extremely satisfied with the entire "plug and play" Home Team experience.

First of all, he answers his phone and returns texts promptly.
Second, when he says things like “I think I may have a buyer for your house”, believe him.
Third, if he says he can sell your house for a certain price he names, believe him. Nothing hyperbolic. And finally, when things get tense in high dollar transactions, as they often do, he gave great advice and solved issues calmly and efficiently.

Tracy was super easy to work with the sale of our Mom's home. She was very knowledgeable on the area and the price. Our Mom's home needed upgdrades deesperately but the structure was fine. She didn't try to talk us into spending a bunch of money on upgrades. She recommeneded selling as is so the buyer could make their own choices. We got 5 offers in the first week and Tracy was again knowledeable on summarizing all the offers and guiding on the best one to choose. John and team are best in class in Barrington and Inverness. They helped us on our purchase and sale. On the purchase side, things got complicated towards the end and the deal fell apart, but John was able to renegotiate with all parties involved to get it back to the table and close to our original requested terms. On sell side the pictures and marketing were top notch resulting in over 30 showings scheduled on the first day of listing and a deal reached by that evening. “Impressive” is the one word that comes to mind when reflecting on our experience with the Morrison Home Team. Having sold many homes with various real estate teams, we've encountered some great experiences. However, the Morrison Home Team stands out as the best by far. Their process was efficient, organized, and effective. This review is long overdue. I think I am still in shock at how easy it was to sell not one but two properties with the Morrison Home Team. John Morrison and MHT are the true leaders in real estate. Morrison Home Team is an A+ operation from start to finish. From the initial consultation about listing our family's home as well as our vacant lot in Inverness, we knew we were in good hands. MHT delivers in every aspect of the industry. With professional photography, multiple site listings, amazing social media posts, high-quality brochures, and booklets on our home, we could not have dreamed of an easier transaction.

John was able to bring buyers in within an hour of our listing going live and we had multiple offers within 24 hours. Once we accepted, MHT was with us every step of the way from inspections to the final closing. Not to mention after we settled into our new home in Florida with the friendly check-in. John and everyone at MHT cares and there is no better feeling when you are packing up and moving 1100 miles away from your hometown. That is a true testament to John's character and his professionalism.

My only complaint is that John doesn't have an office (yet) in Florida as his level of service would be unmatched down south. I highly recommend John and Morrison Home Team to anyone looking to buy or sell within Illinois.
