My name is John Cummings and I wanted to take a moment to speak about Mr. John Polson and my families experience with him throughout our recent home search in the Williamsburg area. We had just returned to the State’s after working for the Government overseas for a few years to find a very heated real estate market. After initially driving around and looking at homes in the area, we happened to be looking at a few properties listed in the window at the Memorie Group’s real estate office in downtown Williamsburg. That’s when we met John, he had come to the front door to see if we needed any help and to introduce himself. After that initial meet and greet we agreed to have John represent us in the market as our Realtor. We could not have made a better decision!

The first thing you need to know about John is that he did not just find houses for sale and take us to them, it was evident he had conducted thorough market research on each home and always provided us with an information packet for each of them. Over the next month and a half we must have looked at well over thirty properties. On what seemed like a daily basis and in a low volume market, John had homes for us to view, always within our guidelines regarding price, amenities, and preferred locations. Throughout the process John demonstrated a care for the things that were important to us, he excelled at finding homes we could consider because he took the time to get to know us and our family’s needs first. It was evident from the time we first met him until we closed on our new home in Williamsburg, while it might take some time to find a home, we would get there thanks to his efforts. He consistently made himself available to us seven days a week and was always pleasant, professional, and friendly.

I would also like to thank John for making the process of closing on the new home much smoother than with our past experiences. His recommended professional contacts helped ensure all the required paperwork and service work was completed in a shortened timeline and we were able to move in without any issues or delays. I highly recommend John Polson to anyone needing a professional realtor! He clearly enjoys his work and always takes pleasure in helping those who he sees as more than just clients. Coming back to Virginia after being away for a few years, we wanted to find a place to call home, not just a house, and John is a large part of the reason that happened. Thanks John!
