John Sikes

Southern Vermont and Stratton have been a part of John Sikes’ life for as long as he can remember. His family built their first home here, in Londonderry, in 1950. Grandfather Lautz was an original Stratton investor, following the lead of his friend and classmate Ed Janeway.

After graduating from Lake Forest College, John moved here in 1981 and took a job at the First Run Ski shop. In 1983 a move to San Francisco and a job with Franklin Funds interrupted his Stratton career, but John was right back here in 1985 with Stratton Real Estate!

John lives in Londonderry with his wife Mary. They have three (mostly) grown children, John, Ben, and Kitt ,who are off making their way in the world. They are all avid skiers, both Alpine and Nordic, tennis players, golfers, & hikers.
