About Joni

Joni (Grunewald) Friberg was raised in Cass County, NE and graduated from Conestoga High School. In keeping with her family’s tradition of military service, she
joined ROTC at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Upon graduating from UNO with a BA, she started her Air Force career in public affairs and went on to complete her MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Joni has over 22 years of experience in marketing, public relations, sales, and technology. From her time in the Air Force to her years as an executive Casino host,
