When I needed to buy my first home I was lucky to have Joseph as my guide. When I met him first time I knew I have a professional and sincere person with me to go through the first time home hunting process. By the end of the same week I not only found my dream home but also was half way through mortgage process. He is not only real estate specialist for Fair Lawn but is also well respected in local professionals related to real estate. He made my first home buying as easy as buying a burger from McDonald. During my 10 years in Real Estate I have known and closely worked with many Realtors, including Joe. But, I have yet to meet a Realtor who is as professional and a gentleman like Joe. Joe takes his responsibility for his clients with great care and pride, and although he is always busy he would make you feel as if you are his only client. I actually asked him once if he ever sleeps because I literally never, no matter the time of day, waited more than a few minutes for a reply from him. Joe is a powerful negotiator, he knows how to market properties and has connections in the local market that help deliver amazing results. Joe is the kind of fighter you want in your corner.

We live in NY and needed to sell my elderly mother's house. We found Joe Kapon through the local re/max office in Fair Lawn. Joe immediately impressed us with his knowledge of the area and his energy and readiness to work with us. We were concerned about working this out via long distance, but Joe demonstrated his willingness to take on much of the legwork and made sure every single thing was cared for. On many occasions he cared for items at my mother's house above and beyond what was expected and made our lives so much easier. In the first week after signing a contract with Joe, he had several potential buyers looking at the home. He never skipped a beat and within short weeks we had the house sold! Joe is responsive, bright, completely honest every step of the way and extremely hard-working. He is there when you need him and he will make sure you are taken care of as his customer. Joseph was everything and more than what I expected from an agent. He was very responsive, always available, even when he was out of the country and willing to do more to keep up people's interest in the house. He took on all the extra chores necessary to help prepare the house for closing, including meeting multiple time with town inspectors to make sure all details were taken care of in the appropriate time. When preparing the house for sale Joseph was willing to offer his opinions and listen to yours when deciding how best to present the house on the market. It's rare where you can find someone who knows how to manage a client / agent relationship so well.. I have no reservations about recommending him to anyone who needs to sell their house. Ratz. D.

I have met many real estate agents, none of whom however, have been quite as capable and forthright as Joe. He is well prepared when presenting his ideas respecting the listing of property and has his finger on the pulse of the real estate market.. His style is to be sensible and not attempting to inflate the listing price but rather to set the price to reflect real market conditions. He is very warm and friendly and extremely helpful during the process, doing everything in his power to help the otherwise stressful experience go smoothly and quickly. He is always available to answer questions, help with obtaining necessary documents from governmental agencies, negotiate issues that may arise and see the transaction completed through the closing. Knowledgeable, dedicated, clicks as Swiss watch, dependable, and does not lack sense of humor - that's Joseph (Yosi). Walked in more than 30 houses with him over a span of 3 months until finally found the one we loved. Without his tips our chances to win the bid war on the house would slim to none - sellers got more than 5 offers within couple of days, so that's when his experience and connections made the difference. Joe was not only a true pleasure to work with, but was instrumental in my family and I finding our ideal home. I cannot adequately describe in a blurb Joe's efforts, responsiveness, support, understanding, and patience as we were looking for our home. He was extremely flexible in location, often driving to five different towns spread out over vast areas in the same day to assist in looking at the homes we wanted to see. Additionally, Joe was extremely honest with what he did, or did not know, about particular locations however, if he did not know, he always asked the questions to get the answers. When you are dealing with real estate agents or other folks in sales that have a vested interest in you making a purchase as it directly impacts their finances, there is always an underlying concern that the person you are dealing with may not have you or your family's best interests in mind. That was not the case with Joseph. My wife and I truly felt comfortable with him, he really cared about us buying the right home, in the price range that was right for us, in the town that met our needs, in the house that not only met our standards, but met Joe's standards. Not only did Joe walk with us every step of our long journey to purchase a home, (long because of my wife and I, not Joe), but even when he knew we were going to purchase, he was extremely hands on in helping us with every part of the actual purchase. He made suggestions but not demands; he brought forward helpful hints, but did not push. Joe will be honest with you and he will tell you like it is. To this day, several months after we purchased our home, Joe still calls and checks in on how my family is, how my home is, and if there are problems or questions he can help with. Joe suggested an aggressive pricing strategy, which he said might create a bidding war. I was doubtful, but went with his judgment. In fact, we got three offers the first weekend, and ended up accepting an offer well over the asking price. Equally valuable was Joe's expertise in disposing of municipal inspection and permitting issues, so that the sale could go through on time. He knows qualified local contractors for repairs, and who to call at borough hall. Joe tells me that he focuses mainly on Fair Lawn. When it came to selling my house in Fair Lawn, he hit the ball clear out of the park. If you have real estate to transact in Fair Lawn, Joe is unquestionably THE MAN to go to. Michael H.

After Super Storm Sandy back in late 2012 we lost our home to 8 feet of water. We were caught off guard because only Zone A of NYC was mandatory evacuated while our house was located in Zone B. We didn’t have chance to escape and spent 3 days and 3 nights stranded without food and water along with our elderly mother and two young children. Fast-forwarding 3 months later, we met Joseph Kapon while doing our own home shopping during the weekends since living from one friend to the next proven to be frequent. Immediately Joseph demonstrated the enthusiasm and expertise rarely seen in a real estate agent nowadays.
