We were first-time buyers and chose to work with Josie after meeting her at an open house. We knew generally where we wanted to be and she helped us stay on top of all of the listings in the area. She was professional, easy to get in touch with, and we always had fun looking at houses. We ended up buying in a slightly different neighborhood based on Josie's experience and recommendation. Not only did we get a bigger house for less money in a neighborhood that we adore, values in our neighborhood have appreciated so much that we were able to get the house re-appraised for over 25% more than we paid for it two years ago, allowing us to drop our PMI. The house we purchased had multiple offers and Josie worked with both us and the sellers to successfully negotiate a contract and get us the house. It was an older home, so we hit several roadblocks during the contract period, particularly regarding recently changed flood insurance regulations, and Josie stuck with us (and our house) when most other agents would have thrown in the towel and let the deal fall apart. When relocating to the Charleston area from out of state, Josie helped us narrow down the area that was best suited for our family on a short notice time frame.
