Born and raised in NYC, Joy attended Syracuse and Columbia Universities, and eventually moved to Roslyn in 1961, where she has resided ever since. As a mother and a grandmother dedicated to helping others, Joy and her husband became early chapter members of the Tourette's Syndrome Association and founders of the Long Island chapter, where they worked to spread awareness in schools and communities throughout Long Island. This hands-on approach to her volunteer work has directly led to her success in the real estate business, where she can truly get to know her customers and clients and form strong, lasting relationships, something which has earned her countless referrals over the years.
