About Joy

Joy has been an agent with Jaqua Realtors since 2013, however she has been in Real Estate since 1991, she has owned her own Real Estate Business the Joy Brown Realty and sold it in 2008. She has always admired the Jaqua Realtors for their professionalism and nice attitude to work with over the years. She is an Associate broker here and has a Certified Residential Specialist designation. Her first job was working at the Battle Creek Post Office and even though she thought she knew her area well, she delivered mail to places she never knew before, so she must say, she now does know the region inside and out. She still refers to addresses, as "Oh, that's Rural Route Eight", or that's city route 43. She has lived in Battle Creek her whole life then in 2008 she moved to Richland, Michigan on Gull Lake where she has enjoyed the sunsets and lake activity. She has been married since 1978 to Mark. They now work together as the Joy Brown Team. She wanted to call it the Brown Team, but Mark is always pushing her to be front and center and thought her name was more recognizable.
