Joy Hanes

Local Virginia girl, Joy Hanes is committed to being a trusted real estate professional, serving her friends and family and community. She loves the opportunity for a close relationship with her clients, learning about their families and their goals for homeownership.

Since 2013, Joy Hanes has been a full-time, licensed REALTOR and dedicated part of several top real estate sales teams in Richmond, Virginia. She joined Wind Chime Properties, with like minded family and community oriented goals.

Prior to working as a REALTOR, she enjoyed and thrived in a career within the restaurant and medical services industry, furthering her love of service for others.

Born and raised in Goochland, VA, Joy is number four out of eight children and still enjoys visiting with her large close-knit family and her nieces and nephew. She is also committed to being a foster mom, devoting her time to providing a safe, loving home for children.

Joy is an avid animal lover and over the years has worked with local rescues and been involved with her therapy dog, serving local schools, hospitals, and nursing homes in the area. She currently is dedicated to rescuing bully breed dogs, overcoming the negative stigma associated with them.

To truly unwind, you’ll find her in a variety of outdoor activities, enjoying off -roading adventures in her truck , riding her motorcycle on the backroads, or relaxing at home with the kids, the dogs, and a good book.
