Teresa Thorpe has been beyond amazing from day 1. On the first day, Teresa diligently arranged a listing of several homes for our viewing. Including one that had freshly hit the market in the neighborhood my wife and I were extremely interested in; within hours of working with her, Teresa arranged a walkthrough viewing of the property and relentlessly got us under contract!

As a Referral Real Estate Agent, I know all real estate agents are not created equal. And JR Doughty of L.I.F.E. Real Estate Team, is one who I trust to take care of my clients. A few years ago, I had the chance to observe JR Doughty's work ethic when we worked out of the same office. He is fast, efficient and looks out for his client's best interests. I saw him work with one of his client's who lives in OHIO and wanted to sell the family home in VA. Once the client signed, JR got the house listed by Friday and it was sold by Sunday 5pm. The closing was done even faster than the client expected. JR Doughty will be my 1st stop when I am looking for a Real Estate Agent!

Jabbar Doughty is the best! Jabbar has been my property manager for about the last 5-6 years. I had worked with four other property managers before him. I must say with all honesty that he is the absolute best. He resolves property matters quickly and efficiently. As a realtor, he was spot on with everything involved with the sale.

JR is the absolute best. I met him about 2 years ago, remember texting/calling him on a Sunday and I knew I wanted to work with him because he was about business on a Sunday. He has been nothing but great throughout these 2 years. In May of this year, my wife and I made a sudden decision to move from Courtland, Virginia to live near our son and his wife in Wilbraham, MA. A neighbor in Courtland had previously moved, and he had told us of the effectiveness of a real estate agent, JR Doughty, who had managed the sale of his home. The sale was consummated effectively in only a few days.

We called Mr. Doughty and had the time of our lives working with him. He quickly became a friend and ally. As an agent, he was able to find a buyer in only a few days. Selling a home will always be a tough task. But when you have a good agent to guide you through the process, it helps you stay level headed and concentrating on things you can control.

Jabbar was there to help me through the whole process. I needed a new roof and he had a roofer out within 24 hours to give me an estimate. We needed some prompt repairs after appraisal and he offered his services to help me out. His hands on approach from listing to close was very refreshing for me as a first time home seller.

We recently sold our home in Courtland, Virginia with the professional marketing services of Mr. JR Doughty, a real estate agent, with Keller Williams Elite - Western Branch located in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Mr. Doughty’s expertise was outstanding. We initially solicited his real estate services based on the exemplary job he performed for us in 2018 when he was able to sell the family home in Norfolk, Virginia.

We, like then, were impressed with his attention to details and his acute ability to listen to what our goals and objectives were. Since we lived about an hour away from JR’s office, he assured us that the distance was not a deterrent in attracting clients to the listed property. His marketing included a PROFESSIONAL photographer and aerial specialist who attuned to JR’s business marketing plan. This approach served us, as clients, extremely well because Mr. Doughty’s objective was to highlight and pinpoint the great features of the home. The results were fantastic and attracted several potential purchasers within twenty-four hours of being placed on the multiple listing service.

JR even gave us great advice on staging the home which included decluttering and strategic placement of neutral wall pictures throughout the home. His motto was that we want the property to have the feel for someone to visualize how he/she would live in the home. It was all about the BUYER and not the SELLER.

We were overjoyed and can’t thank Mr. JR Doughty enough. He truly sells 757.

My sister and I wanted to sell the family home in Norfolk, Virginia in 2018. We solicited the professional services of Mr. JR Doughty, a real estate agent with Keller Williams.

Our efforts to sell this home in a historic preservation community in Norfolk was not successful. We looked at various possibilities such as another real estate firm and home investors neither of which proved fruitful.

From the outset of meeting Mr. Doughty, we were highly impressed with his listening and hearing skills pertaining to our end goal of selling our home which was built in 1922. He toured the home and assured us that he was going to sell the property.

He quickly became proactive in listing the property on the Multiple Listing Service after the necessary paperwork was satisfied and kept us apprised either by text or email in regard to interest or lack thereof.

We were excited that there was a lot of interest in the home and Mr. Doughty fielded the agents to ascertain their clients’ thoughts.

The home was sold in a little under 90 days thanks to Mr. Doughty’s efforts. We were truly grateful to have such an outstanding professional as our real estate agent representative.

I hired JR to help me find a new investment property. We went to view a few places together, and he asked questions to get my opinion on each place that we viewed. JR ended up finding me a place in the area I was looking for with a long term tenant already in place. He was able to get the property manager to let me view the property before it hit the MLS. He even waited at the property to verify all of my requested repairs were complete prior to closing. I definitely would recommend JR.

Realtor Jr Doughty cares more about your family than selling house. When we met he was very knowledgable about the home buying process. His lender Chris at Fairway Mortage is the the best. They both spoke up for me when VDHA was dragging their feet on approving the grant money. Chris even drove 2 hours to Richmond, VA to have a sit down with Manager at VHDA to discuss why it was taking so long.
