The entire team was amazing! My mother could no longer live alone and we needed to sell her home quickly to support her via memory care. They came in and took care of everything! The house was on the market in short order and sold quickly. I do not live in the area and would have never been able to complete everything they accomplished in such a short amount of time. Absolutely amazing customer service and so trustworthy. In retrospect I wish I'd asked them for mover recommendations, I wasn't thrilled with the one I picked for myself! Review of Christel Osterstrom at Cox Gibson Real Estate Group specializing in 55 Plus communities. 8/9/2023.
Our 90yo mother passed away and my wife and I of 45 years were spending 3-4 days a week travelling 160 miles to Lacey, WA and back, packing up her household possessions, with no end in sight. On a Friday, during our second week in Lacey, Christel Osterstrom passed by on the sidewalk and warmly invited us to visit an open house that she and her agency were hosting down the street the next day. It was definitely providence. Christel gave us an open house brochure with her contact info and from then on it was easy -- she took care of all our needs to list our mother's home. She along with her partner Juli Anne Gibson at Cox Gibson RE Group were prompt, efficient, caring, attentive and pro-active, always taking our calls and texts responding quickly, making us feel like we were her only customer.

Christel promptly provided a Checklist Schedule of events as they would happen up to closing along with helping us determine the best price for listing the home sale. Once the house was empty, she would have a cleaner, hanydman, and landscaper come in to fix, clean, touch- up and beautify everything. Estimates were provided by the professionals. Then a 3D virtual tour webpage was built after the house was staged with furnishings. All that happened within a week that ended with the home being listed locally and around the country on websites.

On our last day in the house when movers came to pick up the last of the furniture, Christel came by and she touched up a spot on the fence and re-stained a small ornamental bridge with fresh stain in our backyard Japanese garden. No task or detail was too small for Christel to attend-to herself.

When it came to the contract, home inspection, and reports up to closing, Christel explained all the detail and made sure we understood the ins-and-outs to make sure our interests were protected. She enlisted the Title Company and also a 3rd party company to track and ensure all milestones were met toward closing date. We were able to sign the closing documents in our hometown without travelling, all within less than a month of the initial listing date. All the parties that Christel enlisted were prompt and professional and kept us informed. I would add that my wife and I were prompt and proactive as well in communicating our needs and questions to all parties as they came up, which helped ease all the tensions with everything that had to be done.

We think the world of Christel Osterstrom and her team and would use their services in a heartbeat if the need were to arise again. Thank you Christel!

The Cox Gibson real estate group has been a lifesaver to me! For the past year or so, I have been dabling about what I should do about the house I had been living in for the past 32 years. I was, and still am, getting older and the big house I raised my kids in was getting to be more than I could handle.
In passing, I found out an old acquaintance had recently became a realtor so I approached her for suggestions. Cindy and the rest of the team at Cox Gibsons worked with me to not only find a perfect new home for me to move into, but also to sell my family home. Cindy did so much in helping me over the hurdles of getting moved and settled. The group helped me sort through 32 years of collecting and sell the extra in a garage sale. Then they helped me dispose of all the things that didn't sell by taking stuff to goodwill and recycling. They got me a good, fair price and took care of all my needs and concerns. They were patient and courteous with me as I was stressing out and took care of making sure I was kept informed and understood all the paperwork and formalities.
Cindy brought me to many houses, all on the peninsula, to help me find a place to move. And when we did find a place, they worked to negotiate the price to meet my budget. And like before, they made everything seem so seamless.

I have been meaning to write this review for several months. Maybe I procrastinated because we were moving in and getting settled and things were chaotic. Or, maybe because I wanted to make sure the review depicted how great they are. Either way, I'm glad I waited because I have had some additional experiences that I would like to share. The initial sale and purchase of our home went great. We sold crazy quick and got WAY above asking price. I can talk endlessly about how great AND fun Christel and Juli Ann both are to work with. I can also talk about how quickly they got our house market ready and went above and beyond in so many ways. All the typical things you read in realtor reviews and they all hold true for these women as well. What doesn't normally get shared is the handling of when something goes wrong after everything is signed and done and you're moved in. A month after moving in to our new home we discovered we had been given some incorrect information from our loan officer. It was an extremely unfortunate experience, at no fault of Christel or Juli Ann. The financial consequences to our family were MASSIVE. There was zero obligation, legally or morally, for these women to get involved and help us out. But they did. These women went to battle for us, advocated for us, and didn't let up until there was appropriate resolution, which we now have. They take their relationships with their clients seriously. I can confidently assure you that they will be by your side, advocating for you, every step of the way and then some. There are so many amazing realtors out there but how many of them can you say will still continue to drop everything to help, even when their role has come to an end? That's ultimately what you want. Someone who works hard and gets the job done but also someone that you can completely trust if something goes wrong. These are honorable business women with incredible integrity. I would have recommended them before our incident but now I can say I recommend them even more! You would be lucky and in great hands to be their clients.

From the moment I met them, they made it clear that service was their number one priority, and they certainly came through! The property needed some exterior/interior repairs, landscaping and decluttering to be market ready. Juli Anne and Christel coordinated all the vendors, managed an in-person/virtual Estate Sale and even arranged a grand piano move. It first appeared to be just a neglected, older mobile home on the marginal edge of two cities. Once the story began to unfold – a young man, his first job, a brand-new home, set on this specific site, and paid for with earnings saved. This was “Mike’s Place,” open for gatherings, of friends and family. Then as forty plus years passed – the mobile home showed signs of disrepair, which seemed exceedingly difficult on a fixed income, and a cane had become Mike’s “new best friend.” Just 6 minutes from the mobile, a Senior Living Residence had a studio apartment for Mike with a view of his old high school. The transition began quickly as his sisters arrived from Texas and Alaska to gather, share the stories as they packed, cleaned, stored, and help Mike move to his new address and home. Bill Cox came into this story as a selling agent and friend. Bill joined Mike and sisters in the now vacant mobile home and began by hearing a few stories. He was patient, though, kind, prepared, and efficient. We had interested local buyers, a price set, and what felt like a good selling plan. Then Mike’s sisters needed to return to their homes. Bill kept Mike clearly informed of what was going on as the selling process continued. He even met Mike back at the vacant mobile a couple times to complete paperwork, very aware that Mike was having difficulty with the “Doc u Sign” technology. While the selling process was beginning on Mike’s “neglected older mobile” home. Bill was also dealing with the selling of a much larger home, quite expensive, on the other side of town. We are sure each home sale was professionally carried out, infused with caring, and several good stories. Thank you, Bill…

We initially interviewed four realtors to sell our mother's home after her death in April. Juli Anne sold us on her company's ability to not only sell the home quickly but also helped us to deal with many of the other aspects of selling such as cleaning out the house, yard work and finding appraisers. She was professional but also very friendly and sympathetic to our feelings as we cleared out our childhood home.

Juli Anne and her team are pretty amazing. Our experience with them was great, even during these uncertain COVID times. They did an amazing job of staging our home when the subcontractor that they normally use would only stage non-occupied homes. They rolled up their shirt-sleeves and did it themselves. The one thing we really wanted was COMMUNICATION. And we got it. They wanted to communicate with us as much or as little as we preferred.
