About Julia

"Julia Nicoll is truly an expert in her field. Her knowledge of the local market, attention to detail and years of experience are invaluable. She was amazing to work with as both a buyer and seller. With her guidance in preparing our home for sale, we had an offer/contract just a few days after listing. Her assistance in the buying process was equally impressive. She was responsive, patient, and ready with everything we needed from inspector recommendations to reliable moving company suggestions." Arlington Heights Buyer
Bio
After a career in social work, Julia transitioned into real estate in 2004. She learned early on that the qualities and skills that made her an effective social worker, were also the cornerstones of the kind of Realtor she wanted to be; foundationally solid, grounded in empathy, problem-solving, reliable and intuitive, yet able to lean into the specifics and nuances of each seller and buyer with flexibility, energy, and a love of learning. Julia thrives at the intersection between the head and the heart, and while she meets clients where they are, she leaves them elevated in the experience. The whole of who Julia is creates a dynamic, integrated exchange with the clients so that the "Comforts of Home" occurs within the professional relationship and long before the closing.

It is her mission to be in partnership with the client. Whether you're buying your first home or you’re navigating the waters of buying and selling simultaneously, Julia believes that education, expertise and communication guide you through those transactions. Whether you're a first-time seller or selling your parents’ long time family home, her approach is comprehensive - focused on your personal needs all along the way. It is with the highest standards, that Julia walks clients through each step so they are informed and well guided.

As a community-minded person, Julia Nicoll is motivated by making connections, fostering relationships, and working together. She started “In the 56” - a platform to promote and encourage support for local Mount Prospect treasures. She also volunteers at the pediatric department at Lutheran General. Most recently, Julia joined her alma mater’s recruitment team, championing the small but mighty Hanover College.

She and her husband, Rob lived in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago before moving to the suburbs. The family now lives in Mount Prospect with 3 children and 2 pups. Their passions include cheering on the Cubs & their favorite college hoops teams, spending time in the city and traveling!
