Julie is a Native Texan who has called Austin home for twenty years. She understands very well the unique challenges of preparing a home to sell, searching high and low to find the perfect new home, and handling all the stressors that come along with making a move. She thrives at identifying her client’s needs, addressing their concerns & providing ideal solutions to their problems. Her discerning nature is well suited to successfully match her client’s desires to the right neighborhood and the perfect property. She brings market-wide expertise to her clients, having invested and lived in properties throughout the Austin area including Southwest Austin and Dripping Springs, as well as the Lakeway & Bee Cave, which she currently calls home.
Julie came by real estate naturally back in 2004 when she married Michael, a 3rd generation Austinite & 2nd generation Austin Realtor. Before she started her real estate career, she helped launch a very successful startup business, serving as the right hand to the owners, responsible for executing all the details to create memorable and successful events for her clients. She finally was recruited to join the family real estate business along with her mother-in-law and father-in-law who are all seasoned Realtors, Brokers & owners of Avalar Austin Realty.
She has 3 wonderful boys in Lake Travis schools who are very active in a variety of sports and activities in the Lake Travis area. She is a long-time member and avid volunteer at Austin Ridge Bible Church, with a passion for the women, children, and Special Needs Ministry. In addition to the church, she enjoys giving her time to her boys’ schools, Mobile Loaves & Fishes, and in her own neighborhood. In her free time, she loves to dream in the garden while doing yard work, exploring new home construction with her boys, enjoying live music with friends & her husband, or attending sporting events for her boys.
